Data processing is based on: (1) legitimate interest for anonymous analytics that improve the service; (2) implicit consent for the functional location preference cookie; (3) explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) for push notifications, which are entirely optional and require deliberate browser permission grant.

We use a single functional cookie to remember your preferred location. This cookie is stored for 1 year and contains only the location name (e.g., "tenerife"). No personal information is stored. This cookie is exempt from consent as it is strictly necessary for the service to function.

When you click "Use my location", your browser's geolocation API is used to determine the nearest supported location. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

If you enable notifications, we store a technical push endpoint identifier, your selected locations, and your language preference. This is not linked to personal data and expires automatically after 90 days of inactivity. You can disable notifications at any time from the notification settings within the app or from your browser settings.

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies or collect personal data. We track anonymous page views and feature usage to improve the service. No personal information, browsing history, or tracking pixels are used.

We fetch weather and air quality data from third-party APIs. These services may have their own privacy policies:

• • Open-Meteo - Primary source for air quality and weather data (includes Copernicus CAMS data)
• • AEMET - Spanish Meteorological Agency forecasts and warnings
• • University of Athens (SKIRON) - Dust forecast maps

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, as well as to object to or limit its processing. Since this service does not collect identifiable personal data, these rights are primarily exercised over the location cookie (deletable from your browser) and push subscriptions (can be disabled at any time).
