Open-Meteo
Primary source for air quality data. Provides PM10, Saharan dust concentration (via Copernicus CAMS), visibility, wind, and humidity data. Updated every 15 minutes.
AEMET & Barcelona Dust Regional Center
The State Meteorological Agency and the WMO regional center provide official forecasts and specialized dust transport models (SDS-WAS).
Copernicus CAMS
The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service provides the Saharan dust and PM10 data that Open-Meteo distributes. CAMS data is the underlying source for the dust concentration readings we display.
Gobierno de Canarias
The Canary Islands Government manages the real-time air quality network and issues civil protection alerts (1-1-2).
University of Athens (SKIRON)
Academic model from the University of Athens (AM&WFG). Highly valued for its detailed dust concentration maps in the North Atlantic.
